It’s almost time for a whole new season of family drama, sibling rivalries, relationship roller coasters, side-hustle empires and the momager who holds it all together.
Kris, Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, Kendall, Kylie and k-everyone else in their orbit are headed back to Hulu for Season 3 of “The Kardashians.”
But before reality TV’s royalty make their return, take a look at a preview of what’s to come and learn when fans can finally see new episodes for themselves.
Truth, power and permission
On Monday, March 27, Hulu dropped a teaser trailer for Season 3 of the series that gives a hint of the vibe to come, but offers very few details as to what sparks the overall mood.
“Listen, everyone has their own truth about how they think something happened,” Kim Kardashian says as the trailer opens and a scene from a family get-together flashes across the screen.
Khloe Kardashian is next up with a quote for the camera, as she declares, “I wish I could tell you this is going to be a mild, relaxing, serene season.”
Given that the family’s success is routinely bolstered by sensational headlines, that claim seems a bit dubious. And it quickly becomes obvious that it’s a line that only serves to tee up her next quip, in which she adds, “It’s not.”
The first part of her statement is illustrated with various smiling sisters and a clip of Kourtney Kardashian and husband Travis Barker playing in the surf. Everything goes dark for a moment to punctuate the end of her message.
Other noteworthy soundbites that lack context in the 45-second video include:
- Kourtney telling mom Kris Jenner that “there’s no sense of loyalty.”
- Kourtney’s ex, Scott Disick, announcing that he’s “never seen this much drama” in his life.
- Supermodel Kendall Jenner venting, “It all comes back to protecting my peace.”
- And cosmetics maven Kylie Jenner pointing out how much influence they all have and asking, “What are we doing with our power?”
Then the camera returns to Kim to wrap up her introductory message by simply saying, “Let’s talk about it.”
When to tune in
Fans got more than just a preview Monday. They also learned the Season 3 premiere date, as well as where to watch beyond Hulu if they’re not viewing the series in the United States.
“we missed you,” Kim tweeted to her fans and followers, adding, “#TheKardashians returns may 25 to @hulu, Disney+ internationally, and Star+ in Latin America.”
