Chris Rock has reportedly “moved on” from Will Smith’s slap at this year’s Oscars ceremony. “Chris doesn’t need to talk. This is clearly something that bothers Will more than Chris,” a source told People on Monday. “Will needs to deal with his issues. Chris is fine.”

This shady comment comes just days after Smith offered an on-camera apology to Rock, via a five-minute, 44-second video posted on the best-actor winner’s official YouTube page. “My behavior was unacceptable. And I’m here whenever you’re ready to talk,” Smith tells Rock in the video. He adds that although he has already sent a message to Rock’s camp, “the message that came back is that he’s not ready to talk.”

In the video, Smith also apologizes to Rock’s mother and Rock’s brother, Tony Rock. “We had a great relationship,” Smith says about Tony. “Tony Rock was my man. And this is probably irreparable.” He ends the video by extending an olive branch to his fans. “I know it was shocking,” Smith says. “But I promise you, I am deeply devoted and committed to putting light and love and joy into the world.”

Meanwhile, Rock has relegated his comments about the incident to the stand-up stage. “The fact that he is making jokes about it already is a good thing,” another source told People. “That means he is assessing it. But the stress of the slap and the aftermath has not taken over his life. Quite the opposite.”

The same day of Smith’s video apology, Rock joked about the slap while performing his set at Atlanta’s Fox Theatre. “Everybody is trying to be a fucking victim,” Rock said, according to People. “If everybody claims to be a victim, then nobody will hear the real victims. Even me getting smacked by Suge Smith.… I went to work the next day, I got kids.” (This appears to reference currently incarcerated Death Row Records cofounder Suge Knight.) “Anyone who says words hurt has never been punched in the face.”
