Everything Jeffrey Epstein Documents Reveal About Donald Trump - Newsweek

Court documents in a case involving late financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein that were released on Wednesday, including testimony about whether one victim ever massaged former President Donald Trump.

The hundreds of pages of unsealed documents contain emails and transcripts of depositions pertaining to the now-settled case brought by Virginia Roberts Giuffre, who alleged that Epstein sexually abused her as a minor. She also alleged that Ghislaine Maxwell, his girlfriend, aided in the abuse.

Wednesday's release is only the first of what's expected to be several rounds of disclosed documents and names included in the filings, but inclusion doesn't equate to accusations of any unlawful behavior. Epstein, who was indicted in 2019 on charges of operating a sex trafficking ring involving underage girls, was found dead in his jail cell while awaiting trial. Maxwell was found guilty in 2021 and sentenced to 20 years in prison.

Included in the 40 documents is a deposition of Johanna Sjoberg, who's accused Prince Andrew of touching her breast.

When asked about the first time she traveled with Epstein, Sjoberg said that they left Palm Beach, Florida, and flew to Atlantic City, New Jersey, for a few hours because of a storm in New York.

"Jeffrey said, 'Great, we'll call up Trump and we'll go to'—I don't recall the name of the casino, but—'we'll go to the casino,'" Sjoberg said, according to her testimony.

While in Atlantic City, they went to one of Trump's casinos, according to Sjoberg, who said Giuffre was not allowed into the casino because she was underage.

Later, when asked if she ever massaged Trump, Sjoberg twice responded that she never did.

Newsweek reached out to Trump's spokesperson for comment via email but did not receive a response in time for publication.

Trump told New York magazine in 2002 that he'd known Epstein for 15 years and that he was a "terrific guy."

"He's a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it—Jeffrey enjoys his social life," Trump said at the time.

After Epstein's arrest, Trump backtracked a little bit on their relationship, saying that he only knew the financier because "everybody in Palm Beach did." By 2019, Trump said the two hadn't spoken in 15 years because of a "falling out." He added that he was "not a fan" and that Epstein wasn't a member of Mar-a-Lago.

Trump and Epstein had an "epic bromance," according to Vanity Fair, but the friendship ended because of a real estate clash.

While Sjoberg denied ever touching Trump, she said that Prince Andrew put his hand on her breast at Epstein's New York City home in 2001. Andrew has denied it ever happened and Buckingham Palace has called the claims "categorically untrue."

Two people involved in the case are fighting to keep their names private and the documents released on Wednesday are only part of what is expected to be revealed.
